Cleaning & Washing
Deep cleaning for fitted and loose carpets to lift sand, dust and traffic marks, with careful handling of fibres and dyes.
Overview
Carpets trap sand and fine dust that vacuuming alone cannot reach, and foot traffic grinds it deeper into the pile. Carpet cleaning removes embedded soil and refreshes the fibres. It suits fitted carpets in bedrooms and offices as well as larger room-size carpets.
The process begins with thorough vacuuming and a check of the fibre type, colour fastness and any marks. Treatment is then applied and soil is lifted using extraction suited to the carpet, with moisture kept controlled to limit drying time. High-traffic paths and edges receive extra attention. Furniture legs and carpet edges are checked for marks before treatment starts.
Wool, silk and some synthetic blends behave differently, and certain dyes can bleed if over-wetted. Permanent stains, bleach marks, burns and worn pile cannot be reversed by cleaning, and old stains may only lighten. If a carpet has a backing or underlay problem, such as damp or mould, the cause needs addressing first.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.

FAQ
No. Many marks lift well, but burns, bleach, dye transfer and long-standing stains may remain. We will explain this after inspection.
It depends on the fibre, pile depth and ventilation. We control moisture and advise on airing the room.
We assess first, and some carpets are better sent to a specialist. We will tell you if on-site cleaning is not suitable.
Light items may be moved by us, but heavy furniture is usually left. Please clear small items and fragile pieces beforehand.
Yes. Loose rugs may be handled differently, sometimes off-site, depending on material and construction.
