Architectural Vinyl Wrapping
Wrap interior doors and frames in woodgrain or colour for a consistent look throughout a villa, apartment or office.
Overview
Interior door wrapping covers existing internal doors and frames with a decorative film, giving a worn or mismatched set a uniform finish without replacing them. It is a popular choice for apartments, villas and offices where doors are structurally sound but have scratches, fading or an outdated colour.
Doors take daily knocks from handles, trolleys, bags and children, so they mark easily. Wrapping covers scuffs and discolouration with a consistent finish on both faces and edges. Doors can be wrapped in place or removed, depending on hinges and access, and architraves and frames can be wrapped to match so the opening looks complete.
Preparation includes cleaning, light sanding of rough or lifted areas and checking for swelling at the base, which is common in humid or recently washed areas. Flush doors wrap neatly, while panelled or moulded doors vary in suitability depending on profile depth. Fire-rated or specially specified doors may carry requirements we cannot assess for you, so check with your building management.
This service works well when you want a cohesive interior at moderate disruption, such as before a new tenancy or after an office refit. If doors are warped, damaged or poorly fitting, replacement or repair by a carpenter would be more suitable. We help you decide at the assessment.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.
Service Process
We inspect each surface for damage, swelling, peeling or heat exposure and confirm whether wrapping is suitable.
You choose a film design and finish from samples, viewed in your own lighting where possible.
Hardware is removed, surfaces are cleaned and degreased, and minor defects are repaired or filled.
Film is applied panel by panel, worked around edges and corners, and trimmed for clean lines.
Hardware is refitted, every panel is inspected, and we explain how to care for the new surface.

FAQ
Shallow profiles can often be wrapped, while deep panels and mouldings are harder. We check a door on site before confirming.
Yes, frames and architraves can be wrapped to match. This is quoted as part of the scope after assessment.
Fire-rated doors may have specific requirements, and we do not make claims about compliance. Please check with building management before wrapping any such door.
Film adds only a very slight thickness, but we check clearances and adjust hinges where needed.
Swollen or damaged door bases should be repaired or the door replaced first, as film cannot correct that damage.
