Taps vary more than people expect. Single-hole, three-hole, wall-mounted, pillar and outdoor taps each need different fixing and connection. Before work begins, the existing holes, pipe positions and the sink or basin material are checked, because a tap that looks right may not fit the available space or hole size.
Hard water is a feature of life in Dubai and leaves scale on taps and inside aerators, reducing flow. Sometimes a tap needs only cleaning or a new cartridge, and you will be told if replacement is unnecessary. Flexible hoses and isolating valves are checked at the same time as they are often the true cause of leaks.
This service suits new purchases, refreshes during renovation and replacement of failing taps. If the tap is a mixer with hot and cold supply, the separate mixer installation service may be more appropriate. Tap height and spout reach should be chosen to suit your basin so water does not splash outwards.
