Cleaning & Washing
Cleaning for dining chairs, armchairs, headboards and other upholstered pieces, matched to the fabric on each item.
Overview
Beyond the sofa, many homes and offices have upholstered dining chairs, armchairs, headboards, ottomans and office seats that gather dust and marks. Upholstery cleaning treats each piece according to its fabric and construction. It is useful for a general refresh or after a specific spill.
Different pieces need different handling: dining chair seats take food spills, headboards collect hair oils, and office chairs absorb daily wear. Each item is inspected, vacuumed and treated with a method suited to the fabric, using limited moisture so padding beneath does not stay wet. Seams, piping and buttoned areas are worked by hand, because that is where dust and spills tend to collect.
Delicate fabrics such as silk, some velvets and certain vintage pieces may not tolerate wet cleaning, and we will say so before starting. Dye transfer, ink, wax and long-standing stains may only lighten. For valuable or antique furniture, a specialist restorer may be a safer choice than a general cleaning visit.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.

FAQ
Any fabric-covered furniture, such as dining chairs, armchairs, headboards, ottomans and office seating. Sofas have their own dedicated service.
Yes, and the number of chairs and their condition are considered when quoting. Tell us the quantity when you enquire.
No. Some fabrics watermark or shrink, so we check labels and test small areas. We will explain any limits beforehand.
Fresh or moderate stains often respond. Deeply set or greasy stains may lighten rather than disappear.
We will assess it first, but valuable or fragile pieces may be better handled by a specialist restorer.
