Overview
A mattress absorbs sweat, skin flakes and dust over time, and Dubai's humidity does not help. Mattress cleaning refreshes the sleeping surface and sides with suitable extraction and treatment. It is often chosen after illness, a spill, a move or a tenant change.
The surface and seams are vacuumed thoroughly to draw out dust, then marks are treated and the mattress is cleaned with a controlled amount of moisture so the inner layers are not soaked. Both sides can be cleaned where the mattress is designed to be turned, and the sides and edges are included.
Deep stains and odours that have reached the inner layers may not be fully removed by surface cleaning, and memory foam is particularly sensitive to moisture. Cleaning does not change the support or condition of a worn mattress, and a mattress that is damaged or very old may be better replaced.
