Architectural Vinyl Wrapping
Refresh lift cabin walls and doors with architectural film suited to residential towers, offices and hotels, subject to building approval.
Overview
Lift interior wrapping updates the walls and sometimes doors of passenger lift cabins with a hard-wearing decorative film. It is commonly requested by building managers, owners associations and hotels that want to modernise a worn cabin without full replacement. Access, safety and approvals make this a carefully planned service.
Lift cabins take constant wear from luggage, trolleys, fingerprints and cleaning. Wrapping covers scratched or dull steel and laminate with finishes such as brushed metal effects, stone patterns or timber tones. The cabin is prepared, surfaces cleaned and film applied panel by panel, with attention to joints, handrails and trim.
Because lifts are shared safety-critical equipment, we work with the building management or lift maintenance provider on access, protection of controls and timing. We do not alter lift mechanisms, and you should confirm with the relevant parties what is permitted. The lift is typically out of service while work is carried out, and the duration is agreed after the survey.
Wrapping suits cabins with sound panels that look tired. It is a cosmetic update only, and it does not repair damaged panels, doors or mechanisms. Film choice should consider cleaning regimes, fingerprint visibility and the building's overall design, and we help you compare samples in the actual cabin lighting.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.
Service Process
We inspect each surface for damage, swelling, peeling or heat exposure and confirm whether wrapping is suitable.
You choose a film design and finish from samples, viewed in your own lighting where possible.
Hardware is removed, surfaces are cleaned and degreased, and minor defects are repaired or filled.
Film is applied panel by panel, worked around edges and corners, and trimmed for clean lines.
Hardware is refitted, every panel is inspected, and we explain how to care for the new surface.

FAQ
Yes, building management and often the lift maintenance provider must agree. We can advise on the information they typically need.
That depends on the cabin size and scope. We confirm the expected time after the survey so management can plan.
No. Wrapping is cosmetic and does not involve lift mechanisms, controls or safety systems.
Some finishes show marks more than others. We suggest options and samples with this in mind.
Dented or bowed panels will still show through film, so damaged panels should be repaired or replaced first.
