Handyman & Property Maintenance
Repair of cracked, crumbling or discoloured grout lines on floor and wall tiles in bathrooms and kitchens.
Overview
Grout holds tiles steady and keeps water from reaching what lies beneath. When it cracks, powders or stains, it should be repaired before problems spread. WrapRevive repairs grout in bathrooms, kitchens, balconies and entrances, restoring a clean, consistent look.
Repair involves raking out the damaged grout to a sound depth, cleaning the joints, and filling them with fresh grout that is pressed in and finished flush. Excess is wiped from the tile surface before it hardens. Colour is chosen to blend with the existing grout or to refresh the whole area with a uniform tone.
The result depends on how deeply the old grout is damaged and whether tiles beneath are secure. Colour matching to aged grout can be difficult, so repairing a whole area gives a more even result than patching. Grout cannot fix loose tiles or leaks behind them. In that case tile repair or waterproofing assessment is the next step. Grout also needs time to cure before wet use.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.
