Peel-and-stick vinyl planks and tiles for small rooms, quick updates and budget-conscious refreshes on a smooth, clean base.
Overview
Self-adhesive flooring uses planks or tiles with a sticky backing, so it can be laid without separate glue or specialist tools. WrapRevive installs it in Dubai apartments, rentals and small commercial spaces where a quick, tidy update is wanted.
Peel-and-stick vinyl is thin and flexible, bonding directly to the subfloor through a factory-applied adhesive layer. It suits small rooms, quick updates and situations where heavy preparation is not realistic. Because the material is thin, the subfloor shows through readily. Grout lines, cracks and bumps need to be filled and smoothed or they will telegraph to the surface over time.
Success depends on a clean, dry, dust-free base and a controlled temperature during laying. Dubai dust is a particular enemy of adhesive, and a surface that looks clean can still prevent a proper bond. Priming the surface, rolling the tiles firmly and starting from a planned centre line help prevent lifting at corners and edges.
Self-adhesive floors have limits. Strong heat, moisture from beneath and heavy traffic can cause edges to lift, and the adhesive can leave residue when removed. They are best viewed as a short to medium-term solution rather than a permanent floor. We will be upfront about durability and recommend a more robust option if your room demands it.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.

FAQ
In cooled interiors it can, with proper preparation. Direct sun, extreme heat and humidity at the slab can cause lifting, so we assess the room.
Only if the tiles are firm and grout lines are filled so they do not show through. We check the surface first.
It can leave adhesive residue and sometimes pull up weak surfaces. This matters in rented homes, so discuss it with your landlord first.
Possibly in dry areas, but constant wetting and steam can weaken adhesion. We advise case by case.
It depends on traffic, preparation and conditions, and we cannot give a fixed figure. It is usually best seen as a shorter-term floor.
The vinyl is thin, so any bump or crack can show through. Preparation is the difference between a smooth floor and a patchy one.
