Repair of drawers that stick, fall out, sag or have broken fronts, runners and bases.
Overview
A drawer that sticks or tilts is frustrating to use every day. WrapRevive repairs wooden and board drawers in kitchens, bedrooms and offices, addressing runners, bases, fronts and loose joints. Often only a small component has failed.
Typical faults include worn or broken runners, bases that have dropped out of their grooves, split fronts, loose corner joints and drawers that have shifted out of square. Each is treated differently: runners may be adjusted or replaced, bases glued and pinned, and joints re-seated and reinforced. The drawer is then tested loaded to be sure it travels smoothly.
Whether repair is practical depends on the drawer's materials and age. Thin hardboard bases and particleboard sides that have swollen from moisture may not hold a repair for long. Runner types also vary, and some older types are hard to match. Repair is a good option for sound cabinets with isolated drawer faults. If a whole bank of drawers has failed, replacing the drawer boxes may be more reliable.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.
