Kitchen & Bathroom Renovation
Remove a worn bathroom vanity and fit a new unit, basin and mixer, with plumbing reconnected and the area neatly finished.
Overview
A bathroom vanity takes constant splashes, steam and cleaning products, and in humid conditions the cabinet base can swell or fail. Replacement removes the old unit and installs a new one in its place. It is the right answer when the structure is damaged rather than just dated.
Before ordering anything we measure the space, note the position of waste and supply pipes and check the wall behind the unit for damp. The old vanity is disconnected and removed, the wall and floor are made good, and the new unit is levelled and fixed securely before the basin, tap and waste are connected and tested.
Replacement is not always needed. If the unit is sound and simply looks tired, bathroom vanity wrapping can renew the surface without disturbing plumbing. Replacement makes sense when doors have swollen, the base has softened or the size and style no longer suit the room. We will tell you honestly which situation you are in after inspecting the cabinet.
The result depends on the unit selected, the condition of pipework, how level the wall and floor are, and any tile damage when the old vanity comes away. These factors are discussed in advance and reflected in the scope confirmed in the quotation. If the wall behind the old unit proves damaged, the repair needed is explained before work continues.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.

FAQ
Often yes, provided they are in good condition and fit the new unit. We check compatibility at the assessment.
Wrapping is usually the lighter option if the cabinet is structurally sound. If the base is swollen, replacement is the better route.
Sometimes, particularly where the unit was fixed tightly or glued. We point out the risk beforehand and any repair is agreed in the scope.
Either approach can work. We can advise on sizing and what to check whichever way you source it.
The work is mostly self-contained, but silicone and adhesives need curing time. We will advise how long to wait before normal use.
